Itineraries for One or Two Weeks
For a long weekend along the Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara, we suggest itineraries of 2–3 consecutive stages, which are ideal even for first-time walkers thanks to easy and accessible routes. Returning is made easier by connections with ARST buses.
Below are some suggestions to help you best organize your weekend on the Cammino.
STAGES 23 - 30
The journey begins in the iconic medieval village of Tratalias, and returns to Iglesias, passing through the islands of Sant'Antioco and Carloforte, the Sulcis mines, and extraordinary archaeological sites.
STAGES 01-06
The stunning Iglesiente coastline, with secluded coves and breathtaking views of Pan di Zucchero, passing through mining areas and sandy shores
STAGES 8-13
A week spent between countryside and mountains, including two days immersed in the forest among deer and waterfalls
For two weeks along the Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara, we suggest several itineraries with 10–15 consecutive stages, ideal for those who want to fully immerse themselves in the experience of the trail.
STAGES 15–24
A journey into the heart of Sulcis, through countryside, farmhouses, and rural churches, before returning to the sea at the dunes of Porto Pino, the island of Sant'Antioco, and finally arriving in Carbonia, the city whose origins are tied to the mines.

The entire coastline, for lovers of the sea, islands, and good food
STAGES 01–13
Sea and mountains, from the beaches of Masue and Cala Domestica, to the Monti Mannu forest and the Temple of Antas, ending in the ancient mining village of San Benedetto
