An added benefit: your bookings at the Posadas are protected!
If you have purchased insurance and suffer an injury during the Camino that prevents you from continuing, the Foundation will provide you with a voucher equal to the value of the nights already booked at the Posadas and not used, even when the standard cancellation policy does not entitle you to any refund.
How to request your voucher
Report the injury to your insurance company following the procedures specified in your policy.
Within 48 hours of the injury, send an email to prenotazioni@cmsb.it, specifying the affected bookings and attaching a copy of the claim report.
The Foundation will verify with the insurance company that the claim has been approved and, if so, will issue you a voucher for the unused nights.
Conditions: the insurance must have been purchased before the injury occurred, which must have taken place during the Camino and before the check-in date of the affected nights.
Important: without insurance, cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in do not qualify for any refund or voucher, even in the event of an injury.
The voucher is an additional benefit offered free of charge by the Foundation and is not part of the insurance policy guarantees.
Only bookings at the Posadas are protected; affiliated properties are excluded.
