LEG'S GO — Sardigna Edition
Terms and Conditions of the Promotional Initiative
1. Introduction
This promotional initiative named “LEG'S GO — Sardigna Edition” is promoted by the Fondazione Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara (hereinafter referred to as “Fondazione CMSB”) with the aim of promoting knowledge and use of the Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara among Sardinian citizens, including Sardinians by birth residing outside of Sardinia.
These terms govern participation in the initiative, eligibility for the benefit, and use of the digital vouchers granted by the Fondazione CMSB.
2. Promoting Entity
The initiative is promoted by the Fondazione Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara, headquartered in Iglesias, the managing entity of the Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara.
3. Target Audience
The initiative is addressed to:
- people residing in Sardinia;
- people born in Sardinia, even if currently residing outside the Island;
who wish to travel on foot along the Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara and who hold a Mìnera Card.
For participation purposes, the Foundation may request the information or documentation necessary to verify that the requirements of this initiative are met.
Participation in the initiative is personal and individual. The promotion is not applicable as part of tourist packages, organized hiking offers, or services marketed by tour operators, travel agencies, guides, or other professional operators.
Individual participants are still allowed, even if walking the Cammino with others, to individually join the promotion, provided that all the requirements of these terms are met.
4. Purpose of the Initiative
Participants who, during the period specified by the promotion, complete at least two consecutive overnight stays along the Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara at accommodation facilities affiliated with the Fondazione CMSB will be eligible to receive 2 digital vouchers, each valid for one free overnight stay at one of the Posadas of the Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara participating in the initiative.
To be entitled to the vouchers, the two consecutive overnight stays must be completed at two different affiliated accommodation facilities (any affiliated facility, including the Posadas) as part of walking along the Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara.
As part of the initiative, the Fondazione CMSB is making available a total of 1,001 free overnight stays, corresponding to 1,001 digital vouchers.
Vouchers will be allocated according to the order in which requests are validated by the Fondazione CMSB.
Once the maximum number of available vouchers has been reached, the promotion will be deemed concluded and no further free overnight stays will be granted, even if the participant meets the requirements specified in these terms at a later date.
The depletion of available vouchers will be communicated via the website and/or other official channels of the Fondazione CMSB.
The awarding of vouchers is subject to verification by the Fondazione CMSB of actual presence on the Cammino and compliance with all the conditions set forth in these terms.
5. Eligible Period for Obtaining the Benefit
The overnight stays required to obtain the vouchers must occur between:
October 15, 2026 and February 28, 2027.
To be eligible for the benefit, you must complete at least two consecutive overnight stays at accommodation affiliated with the Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara (including the Posadas).
6. Use of the Mìnera Card and Verification of Overnight Stays
To prove the actual overnight stay, the participant must use their own personal Mìnera Card.
For each overnight stay, the QR Code of the affiliated accommodation where the participant is staying must be scanned, following the procedures of the system.
The scan must be carried out for each of the nights required to be eligible for the benefit.
Scans carried out at both the Posadas of the Cammino and other private accommodation affiliated with the Fondazione CMSB may be considered valid.
Scans recorded on the Mìnera Card are necessary for verifying the actual stay.
The Fondazione CMSB nonetheless reserves the right to carry out further checks with the relevant accommodations if necessary.
7. Requesting Free Vouchers
After completing at least two consecutive overnight stays and correctly recording the related scans with the Mìnera Card, the participant may request the recognition of the two free overnight stays using the information available in their personal Mìnera Card area.
The Fondazione CMSB will verify:
- that the requirements of the initiative are met;
- the scans recorded at the accommodation facilities;
- the consecutive nature of the overnight stays;
- the actual journey along the Cammino.
If the verification is successful, 2 free digital vouchers will be credited directly to the participant’s personal area.
8. Voucher Details
Each digital voucher entitles the holder to one free overnight stay for one person at a Posada of the Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara participating in the initiative.
The vouchers:
- are personal and nominative;
- are non-transferable to third parties;
- are not convertible into cash;
- are non-refundable;
- do not entitle the holder to any change or compensation;
- may only be used in accordance with the conditions and periods set out in these terms.
The two vouchers may also be used for two non-consecutive overnight stays (subject to availability at the facilities).
Any applicable tourist tax, where required by the municipality in which the Posada is located, is not included in the voucher and remains at the participant’s expense, according to the rates and procedures established by current municipal laws and regulations.
9. Terms of Use of Free Overnight Stays
The free vouchers can be used at all Posadas of the Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara.
The participant must check in advance the availability at the chosen Posada and, at the time of booking, indicate their intention to use one of the promotional vouchers from “LEG'S GO — Sardigna Edition.”
Actual availability of the room or bed depends on the facility’s capacity for the requested dates.
Possession of a voucher does not constitute an automatic guarantee of availability at a specific property or for a specific date.
10. Voucher Usage Period
Vouchers can be used between:
March 1, 2027 and December 30, 2027.
The following periods are excluded:
- from June 1 to September 30, 2027;
- from March 26 to March 29, 2027 inclusive;
- from April 23 to May 2, 2027 inclusive;
- from December 24 to 26, 2027.
Vouchers not used by December 30, 2027 will automatically become invalid and will not be eligible for refund, replacement, or compensation.
11. Requirement for Actually Walking the Cammino
The promotion is reserved exclusively for those who use the free overnight stays as part of a real experience of walking along the Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara.
While using the vouchers, the participant must use their Mìnera Card and perform the required scans/stamps along the route to enable the Foundation to verify that the stay at the Posadas is actually related to traveling the Cammino.
Therefore, the vouchers cannot be used for a simple tourist stay unrelated to traveling the Cammino. Arrival at the Posada must occur as part of a stage walked on foot and not by bus, car, or other means of transport.
If there are doubts regarding actual completion of the stage, the Foundation may request appropriate documentation or materials to prove it, such as, by way of example, photos taken along the route before arriving at the Posada.
If checks reveal that there was no actual walking of the Cammino, the Fondazione CMSB reserves the right not to recognize or to invalidate the vouchers.
12. Participant’s Responsibility
The participant is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided and for proper use of the Mìnera Card and vouchers.
The participant also undertakes to:
a) comply with applicable laws and regulations;
b) use the promotion exclusively for the purposes described in these terms;
c) not perform scans, registrations or requests unrelated to overnight stays that were actually completed;
d) comply with the rules of the accommodation facilities and host Posadas;
e) not transfer their Mìnera Card or received vouchers to third parties;
f) not use systems or behaviors intended to circumvent the conditions of the promotion.
In the case of irregular, abusive, or fraudulent use, the Foundation may cancel any vouchers granted and exclude the participant from the initiative.
13. Traveler’s Conduct
The Fondazione CMSB encourages responsible and respectful use of the Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara.
If the participant's behavior is disruptive, poses safety risks, or causes damage to people, properties, or facilities, the host accommodation may take appropriate measures, including the removal of the guest from the premises.
In such cases, the Fondazione CMSB shall not be obliged to refund, substitute, or re-credit the vouchers used.
14. Availability and Limitations of the Initiative
The initiative is subject to the availability of affiliated accommodation facilities and Posadas.
The Fondazione CMSB also reserves the right to set a maximum overall number of vouchers available as part of the promotion and to declare the initiative concluded in advance in case of depletion of the resources allocated to it, providing notice via its official channels.
A total of 1,001 digital vouchers is available for this initiative, each corresponding to one free overnight stay at one of the Posadas of the Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara participating in the initiative.
Since each eligible participant receives 2 vouchers, vouchers will be assigned until the supply provided by the promotion is exhausted.
The use of vouchers that have already been regularly credited remains in any event conditional on the availability of the Posadas for the requested dates.
15. Changes, Suspension, and Checks
In order to prevent abusive or fraudulent use, as well as for organizational, technical reasons or force majeure, the Fondazione CMSB reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate the initiative, in compliance with any benefits already accrued and duly recognized, providing notification on the official website.
The Foundation may also carry out checks on scans, overnight stays, and voucher usage methods.
16. Applicable Law
These terms, the relations connected to the initiative, and any possible disputes are governed by Italian law.
