The foundation
The Santa Barbara Mining Trail project, which has already attracted the interest of thousands of pilgrims, led to the establishment of the Santa Barbara Mining Trail Foundation, responsible for managing and promoting the trail.
The History
The Santa Barbara Mining Trail is a major route through the areas of the Historical and Environmental Geomineral Park of Sardinia. It was created to enhance the value of the abandoned mining areas in Sardinia, engage young people, and identify new employment opportunities.
European Projects
The European Federation of the Santa Barbara Mining Routes (MINES.B) is a project with multiple values in which partners work together to enhance and highlight the potential of the regions that have played a key role in European mining history.
